In 1924, Haff disease was first detected in East Prussia. Till now, cases of have been recorded Sweden, Russia, the United States, China, Brazil, Japan, and China among people animals. During last 40 years, there has a significant expansion geographical range disease. From 1924 to 2019, 31 outbreaks were various parts world. The total number victims about 3,000 people. human registered 2019-2020. fact, source toxin is fish (crucian carp, pike, burbot, walleye, perch, ruff, ide, yellowtail, black sea bass, eel, silver dollar, brown paku, red cowfish, etc.) or crayfish. Today, problem etiology not solved; with corresponding features isolated, as result, causal pathogenetic treatment alimentary-toxic paroxysmal myoglobinuria developed. Over this period, several hypotheses made that are leading study occurrence (thiaminase theory, tannic, arachidonic). This disease-causing substance known be heat-resistant break down metabolism skeletal muscles, resulting release myoglobin, which disorders kidney function. It also found toxic substances themselves gradually resolve from fish, according its diet (depending on what prevails - plankton, zooplankton larvae, mollusks, crustaceans). For finding out origin disease, it essential conduct comprehensive research by biologists, hydrologists, doctors, veterinarians.
